UM Hospital - Occupancy Controls Pilot

The Occupancy Controls Pilot project involved the addition of motion sensors in various areas within the University of Michigan hospital facility to control lighting and HVAC based on occupancy patterns. By turning lights off and reducing ventilation requirements during unoccupied periods, the design would result in electrical energy savings for the hospital.
